The AI Spectrum: Unraveling the Role of Automation in UHRS
AI FACTS OF UHRS !!!!!
To assure its dependability and efficacy,
the Universal Human Relevance System, or UHRS for short, has undergone
stringent validation procedures. To ensure the platform's accuracy,
consistency, and general quality, extensive testing and evaluation have been
done.
UHRS has been validated using a variety of
validation approaches, such as user feedback analysis, performance metrics
assessment, and comparison research. To gauge their happiness and pinpoint
areas for development, this meant obtaining feedback from a wide spectrum of
users, including gig workers who frequently use the platform.
UHRS has also been contrasted with other
platforms of a similar nature in terms of work completion rates, pay equity,
and user experience. The validation process and UHRS's competitive position in
the market have both benefited from these comparison investigations.
To ensure ongoing validation, UHRS
incorporates regular updates and enhancements based on user feedback and
emerging technological advancements. This iterative approach allows for
continuous improvement and validation of the platform, ensuring that it remains
a trusted and reliable resource for gig workers seeking compensation for
completing tasks.
"We want to make a fundamental change
in how crowd workers, referred to as 'gig workers,' are treated and interacted
with on the platform they work for. Although this petition was created by
crowdworkers who work indirectly for Microsoft through the UHRS platform, we
believe that the ideals published here should be applicable to all gig workers
across similar platforms.
The cutting-edge online platform known as
UHRS (Universal Human Relevance System) enables gig workers like us to engage
in a multitude of diverse tasks, including HITs (Human Intelligence Tasks),
larger task groups, and HitApps, all of which offer fair compensation in return
for our diligent efforts .While these tasks are
offered by Microsoft, we perform them through various companies that have
contracts with Microsoft, including Clickworker, Lionbridge, Appen, ISoftStone,
and others.
URRS Recommendations to Microsoft :
Unfortunately, recent events have hindered
our ability to provide quality work. This includes issues such as broken HITs,
unreliable quality assessment (necessary for working on a HitApp but often
plagued by technical issues or 'wrong answers' that are clearly incorrect), incorrect
guidelines, and widespread disability. There is very little communication with
the workers or the management companies we work for, resulting in minimal
contact for each party involved in any losses. Ultimately, these issues have
hindered our ability to perform our work effectively. To ensure fairness and
maximum productivity, we would like to offer Microsoft the following
recommendations:
1.A more open channel of communication. We
understand the importance of privacy for Microsoft's business, but as workers,
we need a space where we can discuss valid issues without the fear of being
terminated by the companies we work for. We would like access to an official,
personal, accessible UHRS forum through the UHRS portal, where workers from all
contracting companies can discuss issues, ask questions, and provide
suggestions for platform improvements.
2.A comprehensive list of reasons for
rejections when issuing rejections for HitApps. This will help us understand
and avoid unwanted behavior, leading to better work outcomes.
3.Updated and easily accessible guidelines
for each Hit, written in a language understandable by native speakers of the
region where the Hit is being performed.
4.Adequate training time available for each
Hit, where users can review the Hit multiple times if necessary to ensure
proper completion. Additionally, a guaranteed "skip" button for each
Hit will allow us not to provide subpar work for HIts we cannot judge due to
Microsoft's inability to evaluate them.
5.An appeal process for rejections that
includes a meaningful review, with a guaranteed response from UHRS within a
reasonable timeframe. We feel disappointed when we experience income loss
without any recourse due to our improper disablement from HitApps. This will
strengthen our confidence in fair processes and make high-quality workers more
engaged in your tasks.
6. We would like to see increased
transparency and verification of higher-quality HitApps before they are
released to us from UHRS.
7. We encourage Microsoft to actively
promote the accessibility of UHRS jobs for people outside the United States,
demonstrating a commitment to equality for all workers and providing a valuable
diversity of data in an expanding global market."
